As soon as your born they make you feel small,
By giving you no time instead of it all,
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school,
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool,
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules,
A working class hero is something to be,
A working class hero is something to be.
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years,
Then they expect you to pick a career,
When you can't really function you're so full of fear,

At the end of Word War II, while sitting in a prison cell at the Nuremburg Trials, Hermann Goering (Hitler's Number One henchman) was asked how they got the German people to go along with the war. He gave a chilling answer: "Why of course the common people don't want war. Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he could hope for is to come back to that farm in one piece.
Naturally the common people don't want war -- neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, not for that matter in Germany. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter
The month of June is Gay Pride Month throughout the USA. My aunt is gay and I'm very proud of her, so really June is like every other month out of the year for me except it's capped off with a block party and a parade in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Now, I'm not naïve - for as long as there have been Gay Pride events there have been anti-Gay activists. I've been going to the Gay Pride parade for years and really have never noticed anti-Gay/anti-equal rights/anti-people people protesting. This year, however, I noticed a small group assembled at the corner of Halsted and Belmont, right at the beginning of the parade. Though there
Today, I had nothing to do. My girlfriend had to work and I had to vacuum the living room. (note to self, don't leave the bowl of popcorn kernals on the arm of the chair). I wake up around 11am, vacuum, go to the bar to have breakfast (that's a Bloody Mary, a beer, and a few cigarettes) and come home to find out that the neighbors are having a block party. This is where the annoying part comes in.
I realize that block parties are supposed to be fun. And, as I look out my window, it seems to be fun. The fire department shot the hose at the kids and the police showed how cool it was to wear handcuffs, and then the karaoke started. That was 4 h

Who knows what funny is.
Welcome. As i'm getting older, I realize that my tastes have changed. Let me share a few changes with you.
-At age 25, I like cream in my coffee. Before, I drank it black.
-At age 25, I like eating alot more then I did in younger years. And, the food I'm eating must like me more than it used to, because it's sticking around alot longer than it used to.
-At age 25, I smoke Camel Lights in a Hardpack. Before, well...I've always smoked Camel Lights in a Hardpack.
-At age 25, I live for laughter. Before, I could've taken or left it.
I'd like to ellaborate on the last point. I think the television show "Cops" is comedy at it's finest
